Awesome arcade brawler. Found out on my own you can hold <- or -> and hit 'S' to do a lunge attack. Maybe throw that in to the tutorial or controls in the description! Cool concept and game!

Just a heads up, a loading screen would be awesome. The loading slowed down my browser to near unusable speeds and even triggered warnings through my browser. Also, an icon with words or the play symbol would be a lot more intuitive than the green flag. It also is a bit confusing trying to get it to start. Also, if this game gets polished up, be careful not to monetize it as it is copyrighted work. Good luck

Gives me that Space Invader vibe. If you polished it up it could be a pretty good game! Five thoughts: First, change the title so it says "Approach". Just a typo so no biggie. Second, I noticed what seems like code strings in the background. Maybe hide those suckers. Third; the tank is floating on air on the right side of the map om the first level. The terrain wasn't rendered underneath it. Fourth; the invaders seem to be able to scrape the tank without the game ending. Dropping the terrain and tank down would simultaneously eliminate that white bare underneath so it doesn't look like it is on a bridge, and allow the tank to be the failure point. Lastly; a score or level number (or both) and a game over notification would really help polish it up :)

Keeps getting stuck right after play, on the 5 houses and full moon backdrop. Restarts and evebn page reload does nothing for me. Also, the music is VERY loud compared to everything else. If I were to lower my volume so that the game music was at a tolerable level., but everything else would sound practically muteed if I were to run, say, a YouTube or Spotify. Maybe a bit repetitive, if this is the only music, but I don't know if it is just the music this start(?) screen? I'd think it changes if you can get past this bug, but if not, maybe mix it up a bit. The Audio Portal here would give you some great material to work with. If you can fix this bug, I'd love to give this game a try! As of right now though, it seems broken. Good luck, nd hope to see a resubmission!

If you're just looking to test, try using the Newgrounds Sandbox. Whatever you are making looks pretty cool though. Perhaps a Room Escape type of game? 2.5 stars in the review for the potential, with the good looking graphics etc; but I had to vote to blam, because this is something that seems like it is just for the dev, and sandbox is where you wanna go to play around with this stuff. Looking forward to seeing what you'll do with it in the future though!

A good idea, but it needs a LOT of work. I'd start by even adding just a tutorial level so people know what is happening. Towers only shooting straight forward also makes this game pretty one dimensional, and since they only shoot straight, you need a tower in each block by default. Also, It would be good if you could include in either the "how to play" section of the menu how to build, and what each tower does, rather than just ssying "tower type 'x'". It looks like you have a plan similar to Plants vs. Zombies worked out, and the game looks like it could have some cool potential, but i think it goes beyond just polishing things up here and there. Like, fundamental game mechanics. The art is cool, and the models pretty well done, but I think it would help you immensely if the focus on improvement for your next version is gameplay mechanics, adding info as to what the towers do, and just making the game overallmore user friendly. I'd really like to see what this game can become with more testing, community feedback, and a more finished quality to it, because the potential game i see here is one I think I'd really like to play. If you'd like, if you are intending on improving this game, and adding a lot to it, I noticed some grammatical errors, and if you are serious about turning this game into something that you could really get people hooked on, if you message me all the dialogue and menu stuff as far as words the player sees goes, I'll volunteer some of my time to clean up the grammar and spelling for you

Thanks for the feedback, I am creating a level tutorial right now :)
Edit: I updated the game

yep. lost real fast.

cool idea, but the paddle on the right is broken. it doesn't stop the ball.

When the level loads, it says level complete, with the word"menu" and random pictures up top/ Nothing happens, and I can barely move. I'd also change the music, because using Star Wars stuff is gonna get you slapped with a copyright lawsuit. Try the audio portal here and see if anyone will let you use some music you like. Lucasarts and Lucasfilm Ltd, and by extension, Disney, will definitely send you a cease and desist if this game ends up going anywhere. They're notoriously litigious.

All of these games that you guys make me for nostalgic for Spy Fox, Freddie Fish, Putt-Putt, and Pajama Sam. They are fun and in a similar vein. My only qualm with them is how short they are. You have put out a lot of them, which is awesome, but I'd like to see one that is quite long. Vortex Point has 6 parts to it, which is great, but you would get a 5-star rating for sure if you made one of comparable length to a Spy Fox game. I seem to jst start really getting sucked in to one of these games, and then beat them. A longer game would be kickqss! Something that would involve me for a good half hour to an hour woul be amazing. that being said, these gmes are great for a quick 5 minutes of fun. Thanks!
